Unbeknownst to him, Aldo (22/M) — a character from his book — exists in real life. Aldo starts to feel that something is controlling his life, as he experiences a strange sense of being trapped in a time loop. Confused by what’s happening, he begins to question his own reality, and it turns out that he also suffers from PTSD, just like Alex. In his search for the one controlling his life, Aldo eventually encounters Alex. However, the meeting was deliberately planned by Alex, who intends to kill Aldo, believing that by doing so, he can silence the turmoil inside his mind.
